Senior Photography Experience for the Class of 2027

Over the last fifteen years, I’ve photographed a lot of seniors, and one thing I hear again and again is how quickly senior year goes. It’s exciting, emotional, busy, and before you know it, it’s over. That’s what inspired me to start thinking differently about the senior photography experience and to explore something that goes beyond just one session.

Having recently gone through senior year with my twins, I’ve experienced those feelings firsthand. Now, with my youngest graduating next year, I’ll admit I’m feeling the pressure (and the emotions!). It’s made me realize how meaningful it can be to slow things down just a little and be intentional about documenting more throughout the year.

Because of that, I’m exploring the idea of offering a small, year-long senior photography experience for upcoming seniors of the Class of 2027 through Amanda Duncan Photography.

This wouldn’t be a large influencer-style team or a traditional “rep program.” My vision is something more relaxed, supportive, and experience-focused. The vibe I’m going for is casual, creative, and FUN!

Instead of a one-and-done photoshoot, this experience gives seniors multiple opportunities throughout the year to be in front of the camera, helping them feel more comfortable, grow in confidence, and capture different parts of senior year as it unfolds.

What a Year-Long Senior Photography Experience Looks Like

While I’m still shaping the details, this year-long senior photography experience is designed to feel thoughtful, fun, and low-pressure.

Rather than rushing through one session, seniors will have multiple opportunities throughout the year to step in front of the camera, giving them time to relax, build confidence, and capture different moments and seasons of their senior year.

The experience would likely include:

• One individual senior photo session
• Around 3–4 group or themed photoshoots spread throughout the year
• Individual photos taken of each participant during group sessions
• Guidance and support to help seniors feel comfortable and confident
• A welcoming, relaxed group environment

My goal isn’t just beautiful photos. It’s creating an experience that feels meaningful and supportive during such a big milestone year.

Who This Senior Photography Experience Is Designed For

This experience would be open to Class of 2027 seniors who are interested in something more than a one-time photoshoot.

There is no requirement to have a large social media following, and this is not about being an influencer. I love when seniors share their photos and talk about their experience, and I’ll encourage that in a natural, low-pressure way, but nothing that feels forced or over the top.

This experience is simply for seniors who:

• Want to feel more at ease in front of the camera
• Like the idea of having more than one photoshoot throughout the year
• Want to capture friendships and milestones as senior year unfolds
• Prefer a calm, positive experience over something high-pressure

Cost & Timing

I’m aiming to keep the cost around the price of a traditional senior photo session, simply spread out over the year. Payment plan options would be available. You can view my senior portfolio and pricing here.

Final details will depend on interest and scheduling, which is why I’m sharing this as an idea I’m exploring rather than a finalized program.
