Frequently Asked Questions

Clients receive 8-10 edited images for social media marketing by the following morning after the event. The full gallery is guaranteed within a week, though most are completed within 48 hours, depending on the event details. 

Your fully edited gallery will be ready within two weeks. During my busiest months (October and November), turnaround time may extend to three weeks, but that only happens a few times a year when my calendar is packed. If you need a few images quickly for holiday cards or announcements, just let me know, and I’ll send a few sneak peeks sooner!

I rent a part-time space at Studio 1432 on the west side of Indianapolis. It’s a versatile space with both natural and studio lighting, multiple setups (including a dedicated newborn room), and convenient parking. It’s a great option for headshots, branding, and other sessions that work best indoors!

Newborn sessions were once a big part of my business, but these days, I mainly photograph newborns for my existing clients—which works for me. Going forward, I’ll be offering mini newborn sessions that are baby-led, with gentle posing but less intricate setups. I’m not currently marketing myself as a newborn photographer (there are so many amazing ones who specialize in it!), but if you’re a past client or interested in seeing my newborn work, I’d be happy to share a gallery. And let’s be real—while I adore snuggling sweet babies, my back just isn’t cut out for those long, leaned-over sessions anymore!

The sooner, the better! Family sessions, especially during peak seasons like fall, fill up fast, and weekend spots go quickly. Events are typically planned well in advance, and I photograph several recurring ones each year—booking early ensures your preferred date isn’t taken. Planning ahead also helps me manage my calendar and deliver your images on time, so if you have a date in mind, reach out soon to secure it!

Don’t worry! It’s completely normal for kids to have short attention spans. I focus on making the session fun and interactive to capture genuine smiles and moments. If needed, we’ll take short breaks and go with the flow.

We’ll keep an eye on the forecast, and if rain seems inevitable, we’ll reschedule for another day. I don’t shoot in the rain, but I also don’t reschedule for cloudy days since they can create beautiful, soft lighting for photos.
